This project will require massive amounts of video editing to produce the final product, Adobe Premiere Pro is the package which Bryon has decided to use to edit all raw video footage. Premiere is a powerful editing tool, which has the capability of producing high definition video to broadcast standards. Although the application is not use in the most popular top level television production, the application is respected by most professionals for serious video production.
Premiere has a clean and clear interface, which can be easy to use for people of all skill levels, the application can import a wide range of video, audio and graphics formats so that the user can edit, arrange and manipulate such elements on visual timeline. Premiere also has a capture function built in, this allows user to capture video from devices such as DV cameras and Players with a firm wire interface.
After the user has imported the elements he / she requires, Premiere has features to enhance the users footage with effects such as transitions to give smooth approach between video clips, filters to change the appearance of the video content and title to add elements of text to the video production.
Premiere has audio mixing and sound effects controls which adequate features for small video production but not spectacular for profession standards which would require use a specialist sound application for preprocessing for large video productions.
Once the user is satisfied with the final product, Premiere can export the final product in a wide range of formats such as DVD, once render in this format the data is ready to be written into DVD disc, which can be played in any DVD device. The Application can export the data back down the fire wire interface to make video tape recordings. Premiere can render video files with number of video compression techniques suitable for internet and network streaming.
